Synthetic marijuana use is a growing problem for the u.s. military

Substance abuse is so worried about military officials that they had started an aggressive testing program that last year which led to the investigation of more than 1,100 suspected user.

Called synthetic pot is available on the Internet and has become popular nationwide in recent years, but its use among the soldiers and sailors have raised concern among Pentagon brass.

“You can imagine the work we do in the military environment,” said Mark Ridley, Deputy Director of naval criminal investigative service, adding, “You need to be in Your mind when You do the job right.”

Two years ago, only 30 Marines and sailors were investigated for spices. This year, the number topped 700, the investigating Agency said. Those who are guilty of using spices are kicked out, although the Navy does not track the total number of removals.
